Description



JPMorgan Chase is seeking talented candidates for a role in our Card Services Marketing, Growth and Innovation team to work on product and platform strategy for Credit Journey, our digital financial health solution that provides credit score monitoring and identity protection services. The successful candidate for this role will lead a product area focused on the development of product strategy/UX ideation, roadmap development, user research, business value proposition/strategy development and business development (where appropriate).

The role will be responsible for leading significant pieces of the following activities:

  • Leading product strategy for a Credit Journey product area and the development/maintenance of a comprehensive roadmap
  • Determining integration points across LOBs and external partnerships to enhance platform capabilities
  • Providing thought leadership for ways to create additional value from new offerings built off of relevant, cross-LOB digital assets
  • Manage partner engagement and communicating updates to senior management and key external stakeholders
  • Leading strategy development and proposal / RFP processes for partnership opportunities (cross-LOB or with third-parties)
  • Leading workstreams of cross-functional core working team
  • Collaborating closely with execution and technology partners on product development lifecycle


This unique role will allow a multi-faceted candidate to join an entrepreneurial team supported by the assets of JPMC to help lead an exciting new initiative. This role also presents an excellent opportunity to:

Key areas of responsibility



  • Help lead end-to-end product development/innovation for a product area
  • Take leadership role in developing and executing against strategy and product/platform roadmap
  • Independently structure own work tasks and work collaboratively with partners (internal and external) to move forward
  • Lead and influence a project team with a broad strategic mandate
  • Proactively identify and own issues/resolutions end-to-end
  • Influence working teams and advise senior management on key decision points (using strong fact-based data points)

  • Ability to structure and oversee quantitative analytics leveraging large data sets and Excel
  • Ability to structure and oversee qualitative competitor/industry research leveraging both public and non-public sources
  • Develop and contribute to concise communication materials for senior management; strong verbal and written communications and story-telling / deck-writing skills required
  • Ensure work aligns to the overall initiative objectives and JPMC strategic priorities

Qualifications:
Qualifications

  • Prior experience in financial services industry preferred; previous business/corporate development, product management/development, consulting, or strategy experience preferred; minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Diverse problem solving experience, such as experience with strategy groups/consulting or related functions a plus
  • Experience working in agile product development environments a plus
  • Demonstrated strong ability to analyze problems, quantitative analytics against large data sets, communicate effectively and confidently (both verbal and written), and demonstrated influencing skills to work in cross-functional teams
  • A track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, strong work ethic, proactively setting and achieving challenging goals, ability to work independently, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership
  • Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers and managers; eagerness to work in a fast-paced, results-driven, highly dynamic environment
  • Must have excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools
  • Bachelors degree required with strong academic background
