What you'll be doing...
The manager of customer engagement is responsible for leading all events, sponsorships and hospitality initiatives for the Wireless Large Enterprise sales organization. This individual is responsible for developing event positioning programs and plans that support 3,000+ accounts and enable sales associates to grow revenue and exceed sales goals through tradeshows, sponsorships, and customized event opportunities. The individual will also be responsible for the development of a sponsorship ticket management program, including development of a streamlined process utilized by all WBG sales personnel that ensures 100% utilization of assets while fully complying with company guidelines and providing ROI analysis. Additionally this individual will align with counterparts across the organization on cross channel and business unit events
This role interacts with executive leaders, sales directors, sales teams and counterparts across the organization to identify, approve and execute new event opportunities. This individual has responsibility for developing the criteria for evaluating customer event opportunities and deciding on the most critical engagements to support and fund. This individual has a responsibility to secure funding, develop criteria for investment, provide activity reports that drive participation and deliver ROI analysis. The selected candidate will work individually and lead a team of stakeholders to develop a framework for event execution, including scheduling and planning of projects, estimating cost, developing content and managing project participation to completion.
The manager is responsible for determining and assigning requirements to the Business Operations Team to enable reporting and program support to drive event participation and ROI analysis. This position is responsible for defining the annual outlook of and reading out to senior leaders on the project/event related programs in support of organizational goals.
What we're looking for...
You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience in marketing, events planning, sales operations with a proven track record .
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience working in Salesforce.com (i.e. reporting)
  • Project management experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple highly complex cross-functional projects/initiatives of varying priority
Even better if you have:
  • A degree
  • Ability to work under pressure of tight timelines along with accuracy and attention to detail are necessary.
  • Experience in engaging and influencing large teams and functional leaders.
  • Strong analytical skills with successful experience in securing and analyzing large volumes to data to make recommendations to achieve specific operational goals.
  • Excellent writing skills, including spelling, editing and vocabulary required.
  • Experience working with senior leadership.
  • Intermediate Excel skills to include: ROI reporting with ability to pull from multiple data sources.
  • Intermediate PowerPoint skills.
