About our team
The Verizon Experience Team is a new internal group tasked with evolving the Verizon customer experience across all channels and touchpoints through the design and implementation of innovative products and services that customers love.
Working from either the Basking Ridge corporate location or the studio space at 140 West Street, the team is assembling the brightest product managers, designers, strategists, and researchers to collaborate within teams shaping the most important touch point across the customer journey.

About this role
An Experience Lead is a Product Manager who balances Business, Technology and Design priorities to deliver innovation, brand defining product and service experiences. One in three Americans uses Verizon services, so your work will have meaningful impact at a massive scale.

Work will span the delivery process, from translating customer requirements, to defining the experience into user stories to help guide teams across the journey; ensuring products are technically feasible and scalable. In addition to shaping the experience you'll play a lead role in shaping process, building relationships between teams and championing user-centered design within the organization.

This role will lead a holistic experience for customers regardless of channel with the goals of enabling a frictionless onboarding and usage of Verizon services and devices, driving sales, and retaining customers. The candidate's initiatives will require the ability to work across multiple business lines, influence stakeholders and drive change to create world-class customer experiences.
What you'll be doing:
  • Define and socialize core value proposition based upon customer feedback and market data. Align with cross-functional leadership to leverage key initiatives in other areas of the business that could enhance the overall value proposition.
  • Assist in prioritization and management of all aspects of the product roadmap through collaboration/input from other team members. Core to the role is clearly articulating the level of effort to dictate priority.
  • Provide direction, guidance, and translate business requirements to designers, IT, and other key stakeholders. This direction can include performing analysis, defining requirements/user stories, working with teams to develop solutions to meet these requirements, and to test and deliver experiences with the customer in mind.
  • Building the partnership with stakeholders to show what new content is being created for customers and evangelize the customer insights that lead their development.
  • Lead consolidation and improvement across customer touchpoints that impact the device activation experience to simplify for our customers.
  • Update leadership team on the product roadmap status including dependencies that could impact deliverables along with recommended solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor across teams and the business on how an experience does/could manifest throughout the product.
What we're looking for...
You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree of four or more years of work experience
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years of consumer-facing product management experience.
  • Experience with digital, technical and traditional user journeys.
  • Experience in business, marketing, product development, design or technology.
  • Willingness to work out of New York office or Basking Ridge, NJ.
Even better if you have:
  • BS/BA degree.
  • 5+ years of consumer-facing product management experience.
  • Experience defining and driving the vision of customer experiences in one or more distribution channels.
  • Experience with digital, technical and traditional user journeys as well as the ability to define and design what those experiences should be.
  • Ability to interpret data and trends, analyze performance metrics and diagnose problems, and recommend action plans to resolve issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables in a fast-based, results-driven environment.
  • Equal enthusiasm for high-level strategic planning and tactical daily execution.
  • Experience working in an Agile product development methodology preferred; Jira system experience.
  • Travel between locations may be required based on project, business and other cross functional partners.
