The Senior Manager, Project Management will be responsible for driving the successful execution of CVS/Caremark's most critical and complex IT initiatives and programs. Maintain a close partnership with CVS/Caremark executives and senior leaders. Responsible for helping scope major global strategic initiatives. Guide the end-to-end execution of these major global strategic initiatives to ensure business-driven results and transformative outcomes. Support enterprise-wide goals to significantly improve IT project delivery in: execution, speed and effectiveness while driving consistent approach, understanding and supporting the unique business requirements of CVS/Caremark. Be part of a team of Program Managers and Project Managers taking accountability for the most important and complex IT projects and programs, working to ensure the goals are achieved. Work in close partnership and collaboration with Business Leaders outside of IT, accountable for elements of program management, coordination and execution. Responsible for 8-10 direct reports from Project Managers and Senior Project Managers.
Minimum of a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field and 3 years of experience in IT project management. Must also have 3 years of experience in leading program management efforts within large, complex environments; and 3 years of experience coordinating or managing multiple team to ensure on-time delivery of projects. Will accept a Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience in lieu of a Master's degree and 3 years of experience. Must apply by 10/15/17.
